Aboriginal Tourism British Columbia put out an request for proposals indicating a budget and criteria. Taking into account the prestige involved in these awards, and our personal respect for the recipients, we wanted to do something special.

Spirit Works takes great pride in our ability to create the perfect piece for any occasion.  In the case of these awards Aboriginal Tourism British Columbia put out an request for proposals indicating a budget and criteria. Taking into account the prestige involved in these awards, and our personal respect for the recipients, we wanted to do something special. Each of these awards is an actual bentwood box clad in copper. The design on the side is ATBC’s logo done in chasing, an ancient art form practiced on the B.C. Coast. The lids are inlaid with Abalone shell which is again an age old Coastal tradition.
